About Clearfield

Clearfield is a rural locality in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, between the towns of Casino and Grafton in the Richmond Valley. The North Coast railway line passes through the locality; its former station, opened in 1905 as Watertank and renamed Clearfield in 1913, served the district until it closed in 1974. Today Clearfield is a sparsely settled rural locality with no established township.
