About Waratah West
Waratah West is a residential suburb of Newcastle in the City of Newcastle, New South Wales, located approximately eight kilometres west-northwest of the Newcastle CBD. Situated on the traditional land of the Awabakal people, the suburb is bounded by Callaghan and Warabrook to the north, Mayfield to the east, Waratah to the south, and North Lambton and Lambton to the west. It is served by the State electorate of Wallsend and the federal division of Newcastle.
