About Arcadia Vale
Arcadia Vale is a suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales, on the western shore of the lake between Toronto and Morisset. The area was subdivided in 1922, and during the Great Depression many out-of-work miners and their families settled in waterfront boatsheds. The first school opened in 1958, and the suburb has since grown into a residential bayside community.
