About Willow Tree

Willow Tree is a village in the Liverpool Plains of New South Wales, situated 14 kilometres south of Quirindi near the junction of the Kamilaroi and New England Highways. The township grew with the arrival of the railway in 1877, when the station opened as Warrah before being renamed Willow Tree in 1879, and was laid out on land subdivided from the historic Warrah estate into small farms from 1907.
