About Red Range
Red Range is a small village on the Northern Tablelands, approximately 25 kilometres south-east of Glen Innes in the Glen Innes Severn Shire. Settled from 1854, the village was shaped by tin, bismuth and gold mining at nearby Kingsgate before transitioning to agriculture and dairying. It sits at roughly 1,100 metres elevation near the crest of the Great Dividing Range.
