About Kingsgate
Kingsgate is a rural locality east of Glen Innes on the New England Tablelands of New South Wales, the site of a mineral field that became the largest producer of molybdenum and bismuth in the state. Mining centred on pipe-like quartz veins carrying molybdenum and bismuth minerals, and the field was most productive in the period around 1905 to 1920.
