About Guyra

Guyra is a town on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales, midway between Armidale and Glen Innes on the New England Highway. At about 1,330 metres above sea level, it is one of Australia's highest towns and is known for its cold winters and occasional snowfalls. The adjacent Mother of Ducks Lagoon, set in the crater of an extinct volcano, is a wetland nature reserve noted for its waterbirds and birdwatching.
