About Falconer
Falconer is a rural locality in the Armidale area of the New England northern tablelands of New South Wales, about 500 kilometres from Sydney in the Guyra district. The landscape consists of rolling hills and open paddocks of high country grazing land at around 1300 metres elevation on the New England plateau, with Falconer Creek forming a tributary of the Gara River within the Macleay catchment. Ben Lomond, a prominent mountain and locality, lies about 9 kilometres to the west, and the Little Llangothlin Nature Reserve is nearby.
