About Dumaresq Valley
Dumaresq Valley is a small rural locality in the Tenterfield Shire on the New England Tablelands of northern New South Wales. Situated within the Granite Belt, the area is characterised by rolling pastoral country, fertile volcanic soils and sparse settlement, with grazing and broadacre farming the primary land uses. The locality takes its name from the nearby Dumaresq River.
