About Capoompeta
Capoompeta is a sparsely populated locality in the New England region of northern New South Wales, home to Capoompeta National Park. The park is mountainous with dry forests, rainforest patches and tree fern gullies, and takes in the 1,403-metre peak of the same name, accessed by scenic roads from Glen Innes, Deepwater and Tenterfield.
