About Atholwood
Atholwood is a remote pastoral locality in the New England tablelands of New South Wales, situated within the Inverell Shire about 50 kilometres north-east of Inverell. The landscape is dominated by extensive cattle grazing and dryland cropping properties across open grazing country typical of this part of northern New South Wales. It is one of the most sparsely settled localities in the region.
