About Armidale

Armidale is a city in the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales, located 370 kilometres north of Sydney in the valley of Dumaresq Creek. Founded in 1839, it is a regional cultural centre home to the University of New England, the New England Regional Art Museum, and a cluster of heritage-listed Anglican and Catholic cathedrals, with four national parks within an hour's drive including Oxley Wild Rivers.
