About Table Top
Table Top is a village and outer suburb of Albury in New South Wales, about 16 km north of the city centre on the Hume Highway. The area takes its name from Table Top Mountain, a flat plateau rising to 621 metres at the southern end of the Yambla Range. Settled as grazing country from the 1830s and passed by the railway from 1881, the district is today mostly hobby farms, with part of the Bowna arm of Lake Hume lying within its bounds.
