About Moulamein
Moulamein is a small town in the western Riverina of New South Wales, at the junction of the Edward and Wakool rivers, and is regarded as the oldest town in the Riverina. Settled in the 1840s, it grew as a river port and pastoral centre. Its old courthouse, in use from 1848, is the oldest building of its kind in the Riverina and is preserved as part of the Moulamein Heritage Village.
