About Calimo

Calimo is a sparsely settled rural locality in the Murray region of south-western New South Wales, about 30 to 40 kilometres from Deniliquin within the Edward River Council area. The flat semi-arid landscape is typical of the Riverina Murray, supporting sheep grazing, beef cattle and cereal cropping. Calimo has the character of a quiet farming community set amid the wide, open plains near the Murray River system.
