About Bundure
Bundure is a rural community in the central south of the Riverina region of New South Wales, about 33 km north-east of Jerilderie. The name is derived from the Aboriginal word Bundoora, meaning 'place of meeting of many kangaroos'. A post office served the community from 1926 until 1973, and the locality retains a disused railway siding.
