About Yarratt Forest
Yarratt Forest is a rural locality in the Mid-Coast Council area near Wingham in the Manning Valley of New South Wales. The locality is named for Yarratt State Forest, tall coastal eucalypt country that is major koala habitat and the only state forest in the Taree management area left unburnt by the 2019-20 bushfires, and includes Goonook Nature Reserve.
