About Smithtown
Smithtown is a small town on the north bank of the Macleay River in Kempsey Shire, New South Wales, with the town of Gladstone on the southern bank. Named after Robert Burdett Smith when its post office was established in 1877, it is home to a Nestle factory that has operated for more than a century, where Milo was first produced in 1934.
