About Moorland (NSW)
Moorland is a rural locality in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, situated in the Bellingen River hinterland south of Coffs Harbour. The area is characterised by dairy farming, beef cattle grazing and timber harvesting on the rolling hills and valleys of the Bellingen catchment. Moorland lies within the Bellingen Shire and enjoys a subtropical climate with reliable rainfall, supporting a landscape of cleared grazing land, remnant rainforest and scattered rural properties.
