About Bulahdelah

Bulahdelah (/bʊləˈdiːlə/) is a town on the Myall River in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. Its name derives from the Gathang word 'Boolah-Dillah' meaning "the Great Rock", referencing Bulahdelah Mountain (Alum Mountain), the world's only above-ground alunite outcrop. It is the gateway to Myall Lakes National Park, featuring The Grandis, a 70-metre flooded gum tree, and offers houseboating, fishing, and bushwalking along the river.
