About Cataract
Cataract is a bushland locality split between Wollondilly Shire and the City of Wollongong in the Illawarra region of New South Wales. It is the site of the heritage-listed Cataract Dam on the Cataract River, the first of the Upper Nepean water-supply dams, built between 1902 and 1907.
