About Tea Gardens

Tea Gardens is a locality in the Mid-Coast Council area on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, with the town of the same name at its southern end on the Myall River, opposite Hawks Nest. The two towns are linked by the Singing Bridge, opened in 1974 to replace a ferry and named for the sounds its railings make in strong winds. The area is a gateway to the Myall Lakes, is known for its koala population, and is popular for fishing, boating and water sports.
