About Bingleburra
Bingleburra is a rural locality in the Upper Hunter Shire of New South Wales, located about 172 kilometres from Sydney between East Gresford and Dungog on the upper Hunter River tributaries. The landscape features rolling hills, open grazing land, and remnant eucalypt forest on country traditionally belonging to the Wonnarua people. European settlement dates from the opening of the Hunter Valley to free settlement after 1825, and the Bingleburra Homestead on Bingleburra Road is a site of high local historical significance associated with original land grant holders.
