About Rawsonville
Rawsonville is a small rural locality in Dubbo Regional Council, located approximately 30 kilometres south-west of Dubbo near the Macquarie River floodplains. The landscape is largely flat agricultural land used for broadacre farming and cattle grazing, typical of the Central West region of New South Wales. The locality is notable for the heritage-listed Rawsonville Bridge, a Dare-type timber truss bridge completed in 1916 that spanned the Macquarie River.
