About Honeybugle
Honeybugle is a large rural locality in the Far West and Orana region of New South Wales, about 40 kilometres south-southwest of Nyngan, of semi-arid pastoral country. The Honeybugle Intrusive Complex, a large mafic igneous formation beneath the surface, contains deposits of platinum group metals, nickel, cobalt and scandium, making the area geologically significant. Broad-acre wheat farming and pastoral grazing characterise the economy, and the locality is served by the Honeybugle Rural Fire Brigade.
