About Cathundral
Cathundral is a sparsely settled rural locality in the Warren Shire of the Orana region in New South Wales, about 382 kilometres north-west of Sydney. The area supports extensive grazing and cropping on semi-arid plains with scattered mulga and cypress woodland, and seasonal waterways including Boggy Cowal and Meringo Cowal traverse the landscape. The Warren Shire sits within the fertile Macquarie Valley, where wool, cotton, sheep, cattle and grain production drive the local economy.
