About The Sandon
The Sandon is a tiny coastal village at the mouth of the Sandon River in Yuraygir National Park on the north coast of New South Wales, between Brooms Head and Wooli. It is reachable only by beach from Minnie Water or by boat, and is a base for the Yuraygir Coastal Walk, with the river mouth lying within the Solitary Islands Marine Park, the first marine park declared in New South Wales.
