About Brooms Head

Brooms Head is a coastal village in the Clarence Valley, located about 20 kilometres from Maclean on the northern New South Wales coast. Originally inhabited by the Yaegl people, it takes its name from a broom washed ashore from the wreck of the schooner Eureka in 1870, and adjoins the Yuraygir National Park.
