About Raleigh
Raleigh is a small town in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, in Bellingen Shire, south of Coffs Harbour and Sawtell and north of Nambucca Heads. It has a single school, Raleigh Public School, located opposite a Norco dairy factory, and the town is perhaps named after Raleigh County. A railway station on the North Coast line opened in 1915 but has since been closed and demolished.
