About Mylneford
Mylneford is a rural locality on the Clarence River floodplain in the Clarence Valley of northern New South Wales, about 20 kilometres south of Grafton. Named after the Mylne brothers who established the Eatonswill pastoral run there in 1839, the area is characterised by mixed farming and grazing land. The locality contains one of the region's earliest European cemeteries, dating from the 1840s, reflecting its deep roots in Clarence Valley settlement history.
