About Calliope (NSW)
Calliope is a small rural locality in the Clarence Valley region of northern New South Wales, situated approximately 20 kilometres south of Grafton on the coastal lowlands west of the Clarence River. The landscape is a mix of grazing land, sugarcane farms and river flats characteristic of the Lower Clarence. Residents rely on the nearby historic village of Ulmarra and the regional centre of Grafton for services.
