About Mount Lambie
Mount Lambie is a locality on the Great Western Highway about 20 kilometres west of Lithgow, situated at the top of the Honeysuckle Range in the Blue Mountains. It was named after Surveyor John Lambie, who oversaw construction of Victoria Pass and the Great Western Road in the 1830s. Thorpes Pinch Road at Mount Lambie follows part of the original alignment of Mitchell's line of road from Sydney to Bathurst.
