About Kings Plains (Blayney - NSW)

Kings Plains is a rural locality in Blayney Shire on the Central West tablelands, situated around the headwaters of the Belubula River. The name historically refers to the plains where the town of Blayney was surveyed in 1843, and the area is also notable as the site of the proposed McPhillamys gold mine.
