About Kains Flat
Kains Flat is a rural locality in the Central West of New South Wales, situated about 15 kilometres south-east of Mudgee in the upper Cudgegong River valley. The landscape consists of scenic rolling hills, creek flats and open farmland used for grazing properties and vineyards in the Mudgee wine country. Windamere Dam on the Cudgegong River lies about 15 kilometres upstream.
