About Hassans Walls

Hassans Walls is a locality on the southern side of Lithgow in the Central West region of New South Wales, a line of cliffs between Browns Gap and South Bowenfels. Named by Governor Macquarie in 1815, the area was a staging stop on the Bathurst road with a post office from 1834. Hassans Walls Reserve is the site of the highest scenic lookout in the Blue Mountains.
