About Growee
Growee is a rural locality in the Bylong Valley on the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, about 170 km from Sydney between Rylstone and Bylong. The Growee River, a perennial stream of the Hunter River catchment, rises on the Great Dividing Range and flows through the district to join the Bylong River near Bylong, crossed several times by the Bylong Valley Way. The valley has long been used for grazing, cropping and horse breeding.
