About Eglinton (NSW)
Eglinton is a northern residential suburb of Bathurst in the Central West region of New South Wales, located approximately seven kilometres north-north-west of the Bathurst CBD. Situated at an elevation of 650 metres, the suburb is part of the Bathurst Region local government area and is served by the State electorate of Bathurst and the federal division of Calare. Eglinton is a residential area within the Bathurst regional centre, which is the largest inland settlement in New South Wales.
