About Windradyne
Windradyne is a residential suburb on the western edge of Bathurst, named after the celebrated Wiradjuri leader who fought to protect his people's land in the 1820s. Located approximately 3 kilometres west of the Bathurst CBD at an elevation of 705 metres, it offers affordable housing and is home to a notable Aboriginal community. The suburb is close to the Mount Panorama motor racing circuit and the surrounding agricultural landscape of the Central West.
