About Crudine

Crudine is a rural locality in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, about 55 kilometres north-east of Bathurst. Situated along Crudine Creek in the historic Turon River goldfields, the area was shaped by prospectors during the gold rushes of the 1850s and 1870s. Today the landscape is used mainly for sheep and cattle grazing, and the locality lies within reach of the heritage towns of Sofala and Hill End.
