About Mannering Park

Mannering Park is a residential suburb on the western shore of Lake Macquarie in the Central Coast Council area of New South Wales, located 28 kilometres north of The Entrance and 115 kilometres north-north-east of Sydney. Formerly called Vales Point, the suburb features a public school, tennis courts, sailing club and a long lakefront reserve. Local industries include the Vales Point Power Station and the Wyee State Coal Mine. Mannering Park had a population of 2,472 at the 2016 census and is served by the State electorate of Swansea and the federal division of Shortland.
