About Halekulani

Halekulani is a residential suburb on the Central Coast of New South Wales, located 18 kilometres north-north-east of The Entrance and 42 kilometres north-north-east of Gosford. The name is Hawaiian, meaning house befitting heaven, given by Mr Wilmore of Wilmore and Randell after a hotel in Hawaii where he had stayed. Gazetted officially in 1991, the suburb is surrounded by Colongra, Lake Munmorah, Buff Point and Budgewoi. Halekulani had a population of 2,427 at the 2011 census.
