About Cedar Brush Creek
Cedar Brush Creek is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located 24 kilometres upstream from Wyong along the Wyong River, in the Central Coast Council local government area. The area, settled from the mid-1850s, takes its name from the creek, a tributary of the Wyong River. Its first permanent settler was William Beaven, a former convict from Herefordshire who arrived with his wife Isabella in 1858. A school operated at Cedar Brush Creek from 1901 to 1980.
