About Wog Wog (Bega Valley - NSW)

Wog Wog is a rural locality in the Bega Valley Shire on the far south coast of New South Wales, in forested hinterland near the headwaters of the Wog Wog River in the upper Towamba River catchment. The locality's name is an Aboriginal word from the local Yuin language, and the Wog Wog River rises below White Rock Mountain south-east of Bombala and flows to join the Towamba River in the South East Forest National Park.
