About Queanbeyan East
Queanbeyan East is a suburb of Queanbeyan in New South Wales, on the north-eastern side of the Queanbeyan River and close to the Australian Capital Territory border. It is a mixed residential and industrial area, with one of the region's largest manufacturing and industrial zones along Yass Road. The suburb also contains a general shopping strip, Queanbeyan East Public School, a TAFE campus and several playing grounds, including the city's largest sports ground, Seiffert Oval.
