About Monteagle
Monteagle is a small village in the South West Slopes of New South Wales, about 15 km north of Young. It was originally known as Bulla Creek, an outstation of the Burrangong station, and grew with the gold rushes that brought many nationalities to the district. Tout's Lookout offers views over the surrounding farming country, and the heritage-listed Iandra Castle lies a few kilometres to the north.
