About Bendick Murrell

Bendick Murrell is a small town in the South West Slopes region, located adjacent to the Olympic Highway within the Hilltops Council area, about 47 kilometres south-west of Cowra and 26 kilometres north-east of Young. It sits on the Blayney-Demondrille railway line and takes its name from an Aboriginal word meaning plain, reflecting the area's pastoral heritage in grazing and grain-growing country.
