About Ironmungy

Ironmungy is a sparsely settled rural locality on the Monaro tableland of New South Wales, near Dalgety and Bungarby south of Cooma. The locality includes the Ironmungy Nature Reserve, gazetted in 2001, which protects remnant native vegetation on the elevated Monaro and has 4 km of the Snowy River along its western boundary.
