About Bobundara

Bobundara is a rural locality on the Monaro plateau in southern New South Wales, about 21 kilometres from Cooma. The area is part of the Snowy River catchment and includes Bobundara Nature Reserve, which protects under-represented plant communities of the Monaro region. The landscape is characterised by elevated grasslands and dry forest on sedimentary and igneous geology.
