About Frogmore
Frogmore is a small village in the Southern Tablelands, located 64 kilometres south-east of Cowra and 74 kilometres east of Young within Hilltops Council. Copper was first discovered and mined there in the 1850s, with mining ceasing in 1907, and silver and tungsten were also extracted. The village sits on rolling tablelands at 513 metres elevation and retains Anglican, Catholic and Uniting churches.
