About Brogo

Brogo is a locality in the Bega Valley Shire of New South Wales, about 15 km north of the town of Bega. It consists mainly of farmland, rural residential dwellings and national park land, bounded by the Wadbilliga National Park to the west and Mumbulla Mountain to the east. The Princes Highway passes through, following the Brogo River, which rises in the national park and gives the locality its name; the Brogo Dam, built in 1976, supplies the valley's dairy industry.
